Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon Beatbox Using iPad App

Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon Beatbox Using iPad App

Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon beatbox using the iPad App Loopy HD and gave the Tonight Show audience their rendition of Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock’s 1988 hit “It Takes Two”.  Jimmy Fallon proves once again that he has musical chops. The self proclaimed “classically trained beatboxer” teamed up with “Fresh Prince” and Hollywood A-List actor, Will Smith and they created an iTunes worthy “re-mix” in a short time using  the app. If by chance you missed this performance, that’s why I’m here for you (lol), this was definitely “must-see TV!”

They did a “recorded layering” of beatbox beats.  I’m pretty sure they rehearsed this, but it almost looked like they were free-styling and in either case, Jimmy Fallon and Will Smith killed it!

The last time Fallon showcased the Loopy HD iPad app, he did a duet with Billy Joel and they did their rendition of “Lion Sleeps Tonight”.  The Loopy HD App shot up the App Store charts again after last week’s Tonight Show appearance and the last time I checked, it was #10 on the iPhone top paid apps and #6 among paid iPad apps.

The iPad App is available in the iTunes App Store for $3.99 and it has a 4.5 star rating.  With the Loopy HD app,  you can “layer looped recordings of singing, beatboxing, or playing an instrument.”  Have you tried this app yet?  If so,  let us know what you think in the comments below.
