This question was asked of me earlier today, so I figured I’d do a quick “how-to” video tutorial and show you how easy transferring photos and video from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or Computer can be.
I’ll demonstrate this using a Mac, however I’m going to provide you with a link to show you how to do that on a PC as well. The best part is that it’s very easy!

To transfer your photos or videos from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac, first of all you want to connect your iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, or iPhone directly to your Mac. Next, go to Finder then Applications, after that just scroll down and click on Image Capture. Once you have Image Capture open, you are going to simply capture the image.
Select the photo or video that you want to transfer from your iPad or iPhone and make sure to check the box that say’s “delete after import”. This will assure that the photo/video is completely removed from your iPhone or iPad, and that will free additional memory!
You can choose where to import this video or photo to as well (desktop, pictures folder, documents, and etc.). Once you’ve decided the destination, select the photo or video and click import. That action will move the file to your selected destination and you can even select multiple files, so that you can move them all at the same time!
Now if you’re using a PC, (click here for step by step instructions) that will show you exactly how to do this, it’s essentially the same process.
Hope this helped you transfer your photos or videos from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or Computer, if so please share this with your family and friends!
