How to Jailbreak iOS 8.4 On Mac

How to Jailbreak iOS 8.4 On Mac – No Errors!

Today we’re going to talk about jailbreaking.  I’ve been jailbreaking my iPads and iPhones since the 3G models and I’m going to show you step by step how to jailbreak on your Mac using the PP Jailbreak tool on iOS 8.4.   Whether you’re new jailbreaking or you’ve jailbroken before, let’s go ahead and jump right in as I show you step by step how to jailbreak iOS 8.4 on your Mac.  This will work on: iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, All iPads & iPod Touch 5G.

The first thing you want to do is backup your iPhone in iTunes.

From that point you want to restore your iPhone to factory settings and set it up as a new iPhone.

Once you’ve restored your iPhone and set it up as new, go to settings > general >auto lock and change to “never”.

Next put your iPhone in airplane mode. You’re also going to want to make sure to turn off “Find My iPhone” and if your iPhone is set up with an Apple Watch, make sure that it’s disconnected.

Next download the PP Jailbreak tool.

Once you download the PP Jailbreak tool on your Mac, you won’t be able to open it just yet. You’re going to have to go to finder and locate the PP Jailbreak tool download. Next hit the function and at the same time right click, and then hit open. That will let you open it, because otherwise it’s going to say it doesn’t recognize this particular application. Once you’ve done that, you’re all set.

Let’s go ahead and open the jailbreak tool application. Now once you’ve got that done, make sure that iTunes is turned off.  If it’s open, push quit. If you have x code enabled, push quit.

Make sure the “install PP Helper” is not checked and click jailbreak. Again, it’s going to say read me first before you do anything.

Turn off your passcode. You shouldn’t have to do any of this because if you’ve also followed my directions and just restored it to factory settings and set it up as a new iPhone, you don’t need to worry.

Again, please backup your iPhone or iPad before you do anything!

Once you hit the  jailbreak button the program will go through 8 steps, you don’t have to do anything right now. Just sit back and be patient.

I did some research earlier and I was just Googling “PP Jailbreak” and there was one site, it was charging like $19.95 to just get the download link. Don’t do that, it’s free. Never pay for a jailbreak.

After all 8 steps are complete, you will see it says jailbreak succeeded. Your iPhone will restart, again just be patient. You will see the Apple logo come on as it reboots. Don’t touch anything.  Just let the PP Jailbreak tool do it’s thing. Your screen will then say “jailbroken”, so you have officially been pimped!

Slide to unlock, scroll over and you’ll see the Cydia app.  You have just unlocked so much power on your iPhone, you don’t even know yet!

Go back to iTunes, click your phone up there at the top. Now you’re going to restore backup. After you restore from backup the Cydia app is still going to be there. You’re still going to be jailbroken on iOS 8.4.

After you’ve done that, open the Cydia app and do a complete update and let Cydia install the updates to your iPhone.  This will also take a few moments and you iPhone will restart during this process.

It could be a couple of things. 1. Make sure you have reset your iPhone to factory settings and set up as new iPhone. (Be sure to back up first). 2. Make sure your iPhone is in airplane mode.
