$7500 For An iPhone 6?
While browsing various television stations the other day, I saw someone say $7500 for an iPhone 6? Wait a minute, hold on, this is a true story. On the “Price is Right Best of 2014” game show, a 16GB iPhone 6 with a one year calling plan including 4GB of Data and unlimited talk and text per month came up for bidding. I’m sure you know the next question, “Whoever comes closest to the actual price without going over” wins.
The first person to bid on this iPhone 6 said $7500, that’s right… $7,500! Not to be outdone the next player said $7501! I can only imagine that these two don’t own an iPhone or maybe they were both just a little nervous, but who in their right mind would pay that much for an iPhone 6 even with the 1 year of perks? The other two contestants came in a lot closer to the actual amount of $1969 for the iPhone 6, Drew Carey responded to the bids saying “I hope the marketing people at Apple are watching this.” Definitely worthy of “Price is Right Best of 2014!” What do you think?
