Apple Watch Stands

Ok, you’ve got your new Apple Watch. You’re hot stuff now, boy. Look at you. Notice that strut that you’re able to pull off now? Well, now it’s time to take it to the next level. You’ve got to put that watch on a pedestal. And by pedestal I mean an Apple Watch stand. Here are 5 sexy Apple Watch stands that caught our eyes!

We’ve scoured the internet to find the best stands to place your AppleWatch on whenever you’re not wearing it. Which honestly should only be when you’re sleeping.

In order to make our list, the Apple Watch stands needed to do a few things:

  • showcase your Apple Watch while also charging it
  • give your Apple Watch a stable base to keep it safe
  • keep your Apple Watch at a height conducive to still interacting with it
  • look sexy (the most important point)

So here are the Apple Watch Stands that “stand” out (you like that pun?).

HiRise For Apple Watch By Twelve South

This metal-based stand offers a stable “bed” for your watch. The rubber footing under the base keeps it from slipping when you reach to hit the snooze button in the morning 42 times before you actually get up.

The HiRise comes with a charging disk that’ll pump up your battery safely. Great thing about this one though is the disk is removable so you can take it with you on the road, airplane, tricycle or whatever mode of travel you prefer.

This non-discriminating stand will hold any version of the Apple Watch from the Sport to the 18-karat Gold Edition with any band. And as we said it has to look sexy and this one does.

You can get the HiRise for Apple Watch Stand for $49.99 on Amazon.

Navitech Wood And Aluminum Apple Watch Stand

Navitech Wood And Aluminum Apple Watch Stand01

Ok, now this one is sexy. The Navitech stand comes in either oak, aluminum or gun metal gray. Each of these seems to serve a different image.

The aluminum has that nice sleek, futuristic look that fits with the image of Apple. While the gun metal gray has a robust, kick-your-ass look that I can only assume Jason Statham has on his nightstand. Now the oak, that’s really the sexy one in my opinion. The wood oak has a sturdy but comforting look that would go very well with a leather-banded watch.

Again the Navitech stand charges your watch but also offers the additional function of sensing when your watch is fully charged to prevent over-charging.

Navitech Apple watch Stand is compatible with every Apple Watch model and can be purchased for $35 from amazon.com.

Nomad Apple Watch Charging Stand

Nomad Apple Watch Charging Stand

Remember how I said the Navitech aluminum was pretty futuristic? Well this Nomad stand takes the cake. Everytime I look at it I feel like it’s going to start moving, slide off the table and get to work building my Iron Man suit.

Available in silver and space gray, the idea with the Nomad was to keep everything simple and minimal. As with the others it charges your watch while resting on the stand. The difference is, this one’s charging cable placement is barely noticeable.

The rubber footing at the base, like the HiRise keeps it stable and prevents it from slipping off the surface. But they’ve gone a step further by adding a piece of solid copper in the bottom to keep it even more balanced.

And like the others this stand also holds all editions of the Apple Watch (kind of a given, I guess).  You can pick up the Nomad Apple Watch stand for $59.95 at hellonomad.com.

WatchStand For Apple Watch By Griffin Technology

WatchStand For Apple Watch By Griffin Technology

Here’s where we start to veer off a bit. The WatchStand by Griffin Technology takes on a different design than the others. While not my favorite it definitely stood out so I thought I’d share it.

While the others provided a place for you to loop your watch around, the WatchStand is a straight up-and-down angled cradle. Just lay your watch against it, plug it in and you’re done. Pretty simple.

The base also has a non-slip footing to keep it stable. One additional feature that the others didn’t have is a base with a little lip that can hold your iPhone. Convenient for sure but not entirely necessary. Kind of like a bike with training wheels. Sure it’ll make staying up on the bike easier, but you’re a grown-up, so what’s the point?

As to be expected this stand is a little cheaper than the others.  The WatchStand for Apple Watch by Griffin Tecnology goes for a mere $29.99 on Amazon.

Premium One: All-In-One Dock For Apple Watch

Premium One- All-In-One Dock For Apple Watch

The Premium One all-in-one dock is exactly that, a dock that will allow you to hold and charge your Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad Mini or iPad Air.

Made from aluminum the basic model (W1) only holds your Apple Watch. It’s a simple design that works aesthetically while also being practical. Very similar to the first three stands we showed you.

With the W2 we start to see innovation. The W2 allows you to dock your Apple Watch AND your iPhone 5 and up.

The W3 allows you to dock and charge your Apple Watch, iPhone 5 and up AND – you guessed it, stop getting ahead of me – your iPAD Mini or Air.

Colors offered are Cool Silver, Magic Black or Hand Selected Mahogany.

It will take a while to get it after you order, but it’s well worth the wait! Click here to check out the three styles.

Ok so there you are. If you’ve got an Apple Watch, there’s no need to be pedestrian about the way you charge it. For a few extra bucks you can invest in something to protect and charge it in style. There are quite a few Apple Watch docking stations but I don’t know of any that rival being able to charge all three at one time (Watch, iPhone and iPad). Review coming soon for the Premium One W3! Stay tuned…
